TIM "ROCK" RAINES IS ELECTED TO THE 2017 BASEBALL HALL OF FAME!!!

TODAY,  TIM "ROCK" RAINES RECEIVED 86.0% OF THE VOTE FROM THE BBWAA!  RAINES WAS ELECTED IN HIS FINAL YEAR ON THE BALLOT.  RAINES MADE HIS MARK WITH THE MONTREAL EXPOS AS AN OUTFIELDER.  HE PLAYED ONE SEASON FOR THE ORIOLES IN 2001 WITH HIS SON, TIM RAINES, JR.  HE IS THE ONLY PLAYER IN MAJOR LEAGUE HISTORY WITH 600 STOLEN BASES, 150 HOME RUNS AND 100 TRIPLES.  HIS NUMBER 30 IS RETIRED WITH THE MONTREAL EXPOS.  HE WAS A 7X ALL STAR AND A 3X WORLD SERIES WINNER!  

ABOVE IS A SIGNED BASEBALL FROM ONE OF THE NEWEST MEMBERS OF THE 2017 BASEBALL OF FAME: TIM RAINES!  THIS WAS OBTAINED WHEN TIM MANAGED THE NEWARK BEARS IN 2008 AT A YORK REVOLUTION GAME!  TIM MANAGED THE BEARS FOR 2 SEASONS IN THE ATLANTIC LEAGUE!
