TODAY, SAD NEWS BROKE THAT FORMER ORIOLE DON BAYLOR DIED FROM COMPLICATIONS FROM MULTIPLE MYELOMA! HE WAS 68 YEARS OLD. DON PLAYED FOR THE ORIOLES FROM 1970 THRU 1975! HE HAD A 19 YEAR CAREER IN MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL WINNING A WORLD TITLE IN 1987 WITH THE MINNESOTA TWINS. BAYLOR MANAGED THE COLORADO ROCKIES AND THE CHICAGO CUBS! DON WON THE NATIONAL LEAGUE MANAGER OF THE YEAR IN 1995 WITH THE ROCKIES!
REST IN PEACE TO DON BAYLOR! IN 2015 I MET DON AS HE WAS EXITING AN ORIOLES GAME! HE WAS A HITTING COACH WITH THE ANAHEIM ANGELS IN 2015! HE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN NICER TALKING TO THE FEW FANS LEFT AFTER THE GAME OUTSIDE CAMDEN YARDS! THANKS FOR THE CONVERSATION AND YEARS OF PLAYING IN THE 80'S THAT I REMEMBER, DON! GOD BLESS!
