MCW hosted Shane Shamrock Tournament Cup in Joppa, Md!

Last evening, I attended Maryland Championship Wrestling’s Shane Shamrock Cup Tournament!  NWA Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis appeared in Joppa, Md!  Also in attendance the son of Billy Gunn, Austin Gunn who recently signed with Ring of Honor!

Hurricane Helms blows into Clipper Magazine Stadium!

Last evening, I attended Wrestling Night featuring former WWE Superstar Hurricane Helms at Clipper Magazine Stadium in Lancaster, Pa!  The baseball game between Lancaster Barnstormers and Uork Revolution was postponed.  There were fireworks and wrestling featuring Chikara Pro later in the evening!

Office Night featuring Kevin Malone at a Reading Phillies game!

This past Sunday, I attended a Reading Phillies game at First Energy Stadium!  The Reading Phillies beat the Portland Sea Dogs with a walk off to win 3-2!  An announced crowd of 6,917 turned out for Office Night featuring Brian Baumgartner aka Kevin Malone!  Approximately 400 fans took part in the free meet and greet with Kevin!  Kevin stayed until everyone went through the line!  Kudos to Kevin for a fantastic meet and greet!👍🏻

2017 WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long makes an appearance in Hanover, Pa!

Last evening I took part in a broadcast for Adrenaline Championship Wrestling  Caged Night Fight Playas with Teddy Long!  Long was inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017!  Teddy was the General Manager for the evening!  A crowd of over 100 attended the show at a hot Armory in Hanover, Pa!

Happy Volley Tournament at Penn State University over Memorial Day Weekend!

I'm trying to catch up recent activities and here is one from Penn State University over Memorial Day Weekend l!  My daughter competed in2019 Happy Volley Tournament!  A major volleyball tournament in the region!  While playing over the weekend, some of the team attended a clinic with Penn State Women’s Volleyball team!  Legendary Coach Russ Rose was in attendance along with his son, Chris!  Women’s players included Jonni  Parker, Gabby Blossom and Kristin Krause!  Thank You to all the staff of Penn State who did a fantastic job with the girls!

CEO/Owner Dick Knoebel at Knoebels Amusement Park!

Yesterday, the family attended Knoebels Amusement Park in Elysburg, Pa!  My employer offered a free day at the park!  The weather was sensational for a stroll through the park!  During the day, I had a chance to meet CEO/Owner of Knoebels:  Dick Knoebel!  80 years young and still very much active at the park 7 days a week!  Thanks for keeping the park still family friendly!

1972 Pro Football Hall of Famer Gino Marchetti dies at the age of 92!

Today Baltimore Colt Hall of Famer Gino Marchetti dies at the age of 93!  Gino played on the 1958 and 1959 Colt Championship teams!  The 11x Pro Bowler was a World War II veteran in the Battleof the Bulge!  Gino was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1972!  In 2008, Gino attended York Sports Night!

The 55th Annual York(Pa) Sports Night!

Last evening I attended the 55th Annual York Sports Night held at the Heritage Hills Golf and Conference Center!  The guest list included Baseball Hall of Famer Andre Dawson, Pro Football Hall of Famer Ray Guy, Boxing Hall of Famer Pernell Whitaker, Baltimore Colt Tom Matte, and Penn State Football players Koa Farmer and Nick Scott!  It was truly an afternoon with legendary sports celebrities!  The highlight for me was talking to Pernell about his career and the state of boxing!  I was a huge boxing fan during the 1980’s and  90’s!

Revolution Wrestling Federation makes its debut in Harrisburg, Pa!

This past Sunday, I participated in the inaugural Revolution Wrestling Federation show held at the Mid Town Arts Center In Harrisburg, Pa!  A packed house jammed into the ballroom to watch RWF and see 2012 WWE Hall of Famer Ron Simmons!  Also, wrestling former ECW Extreme referee HC Loc!  I was part of the commentary team and you can watch the show on Revolution Wrestling Federation Facebook page!

All Elite Wrestling’s Sonny Kiss appears at an SWO Hell Yeah Show!

Last evening, I conducted ring announcing duties for Susquehanna Wrestling Organization!  A crowd around 200 fans packed the Firehall in Seven Valleys, Pa!  Special guest included Lucha Underground and recently signed All Elite Wrestling star Sonny Kiss!  It’s been a pleasure working with Sonny over the past 4 years!  Good luck to a bright future!

Former WCW Bombshell Gorgeous George appears in York, Pa!

This past Friday, I attended an event at The Old Republic Distillery in York , Pa!  Pennsylvania Prime  Championship Wrestling hosted former WCW Bombshell Gorgeous George!  Special thanks to local promoter Darren Wyse for the invite!  I hosted a Facebook Live tour of the venue and spoke with the gorgeous one!

WWE LEGEND KING KONG BUNDY PASSES AWAY AT THE AGE OF 61!

TODAY SAD NEWS BROKE FROM THE WRESTLING WORLD, WWE LEGEND KING KONG BUNDY PASSED AWAY AT THE AGE OF 61.  THE NEW JERSEY NATIVE WAS A  HEEL IN THE MID 1980'S FOR THE THEN WWF.  HE BEAT SD JONES  IN THE 1ST WRESTLEMANIA IN 9 SECONDS. AT WRESTLEMANIA 2 BUNDY WAS IN THE MAIN  EVENT AGAINST HULK HOGAN FOR THE WWF HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE INSIDE A STEEL CAGE!  NO CAUSE OF DEATH WAS LISTED AS I WROTE THIS THREAD!  REST IN PEACE TO MR. BUNDY'S FAMILY!

BRADY BUNCH STAR BARRY WILLIAMS (AKA GREG BRADY) APPEARS AT THE 103RD ANNUAL PENNSYLVANIA FARM SHOW IN HARRISBURG, PA!

TONIGHT, I ATTENDED THE 103RD ANNUAL PENNSYLVANIA FARM SHOW IN HARRISBURG, PA!  IT WAS OUR ANNUAL TREK TO THE STATE CAPITAL OF THE KEYSTONE STATE.  ME TV HOSTED BARRY WILLIAMS AKA GREG FROM THE BRADY BUNCH.  HE APPEARED FROM 12-8PM AT THE FARM SHOW.  BARRY WAS SIMPLY TAKING PICTURES WITH THE PATRONS.  AFTER THE MEET AND GREET WAS OVER, I APPROACHED BARRY FOR AN AUTOGRAPH.  THE STAFF SAID HE WAS NOT SIGNING, HOWEVER HE GRACIOUSLY SAID HE WOULD SIGN MY DVD COVER.  A BIG THANK YOU GREG FOR SIGNING AN AUTOGRAPH.

BALTIMORE COLT SUPER BOWL V WINNER ROY HILTON PASSES AWAY AT THE AGE OF 75!

THIS AFTERNOON, NEWS BROKE THAT BALTIMORE COLT V SUPER BOWL WINNER ROY HILTON DIED.  HE BATTLED ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE AND DEMENTIA.  THE 75 YEAR OLD DEFENSIVE END PLAYED 9 SEASONS(1965-73) FOR THE COLTS AND WAS THE BOOKEND WITH BUBBA SMITH.  HIS BIGGEST PERFOMANCE OCCURRED IN SUPER BOWL V WHEN HE HAD 2 SACKS AS BALTIMORE DEFEATED THE DALLAS COWBOYS 16-13.  HILTON ALSO PLAYED IN SUPER BOWL III WHEN THE COLTS WERE UPSET BY THE NEW YORK JETS.  I MET ROY IN 2014 AT THE HANOVER,PA ROTARY SPORTS NIGHT!  IT WAS A PLEASURE TALKING TO ROY AFTER ALL THE STORIES I HEARD FROM MY GRANDFATHER AND FATHER REGARDING BALTIMORE COLT HISTORY!

TONIGHT THE FAMILY ATTENDED A SET FOR LIFE SERIES AT LCBC FEATURING NEW YORK TIMES BEST SELLING AUTHOR AND RADIO TALK SHOW HOST DAVE RAMSEY!  DAVE WAS IN TOWN TO KICK OFF THE NEW SERIES FEATURING FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY!  A GREAT LECTURE FROM DAVE TALKING ABOUT DEBT FREE LIVING AND FINANCIAL PEACE!  YOU CAN LOG ONTO WWW.LCBCCHURCH.COM TO STREAM HIS MESSAGE!  HE WILL BE IN TOWN TOMORROW MORNING FOR 2 LIVE APPEARANCES AT THE MANHEIM, PA CAMPUS!  TALKING TO SECURITY OVER 2,000 ATTENDEES TURNED OUT FOR THE FIRST GATHERING ON SATURDAY.  OUR GATHERING HAD OVER 1,000 PATRONS TO LISTEN TO DAVE!

THIS PAST WEDNESDAY, WWE HOF'ER GENE OKERLUND PASSED AWAY AT THE AGE OF 76!  HIS SON TODD, STATED HIS FATHER TOOK A FALL HE SUFFERED IN DECEMBER.  TODD FURTHER STATED HIS FATHER WAS IN POOR HEALTH BEFORE HE FELL AND BROKE MULTIPLE RIBS.  MEAN GENE WAS A STAPLE IN THE 80'S FOR THE THEN WWF INTERVIEWING THE BIGGEST STARS  ALSO, HE WOULD FILL IN AS RING ANNOUNCER AND TELEVISION COMMENTATOR ON OCCASION!  MEAN GENE WILL BE MISSED GREATLY.  IN NOVEMBER, I HAD THE CHANCE TO MEET MR. OKERLUND IN BENSALEM, PA!  IT WAS TRULY AN HONOR AND A PLEASURE SPEAKING TO HIM ABOUT THE INDUSTRY!  REST IN PEACE!
